PsoWell Training Course
PsoWell took place in eight locations across the UK and aimed to teach dermatology specialists & psychologists new skills to empower their patients to live better with psoriasis.

In 2019 the Psoriasis Association provided funding to Professor Chris Bundy and her team at Cardiff University to roll out the PsoWell (psoriasis and wellbeing) training programme for dermatology specialists and health or clinical psychologists.
The novel programme involved a one-day training event that aimed to equip dermatology specialist staff and psychologists with knowledge and motivational interviewing skills to empower patients with complex psoriasis to manage their condition effectively through lifestyle behaviour change.

Professor Chris Bundy delivered nine training sessions throughout the UK in locations including Cardiff, Harrogate, Derby, Manchester, Belfast, London, Bristol and Dundee, between October 2019 and February 2020.
We also sponsored free places to members of a dermatology team and health and clinical psychologists to attend a training day. Those who completed the training received a certificate of approval as a PsoWell Practitioner.
