HI,
I have psoriasis in my nails. I am a rock climber and it is getting to the point where I cannot climb because of the pain in my big toe nails.
I am considering have the big toe nails removed.
Does anyone have any experience of this?
Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul, I recently visited a Podiatrist who drilled/filed (wet) top off all my toe nails. Very pleased with the results, no more pain/discomfort.

I have this problem too but before I was diagnosed with psoriasis doctor sent my to get toenails removed. I couldn't go through with it as I mistakenly did research and watched videos on the procedure, it made me ill so vowed to try my best to keep nails to certain standard, although it is excruciating if someone accidentally knocks your toe I can't bare thought of going through removal procedure unless I was put to sleep.
