Ladies and UVB treatment.

This is a bit embarrassing but i've just started UVB treatment (had my first treatment yesterday) but i've come on my period today. Does anyone know if that affects your treatment or if they'll be weird about it at the hospital? Do I even have to declare it? I've only ever had topical creams and have no (female) people to ask...
