I don't think you can go wrong with Philips lamps as they have been manufacturing the lamps for what seems to be forever, so definitely well tried and time tested.

Good Afternoon
Allan do you mind me asking where you purchased your tubes from, I have been looking online and £400.00 is a very good price.
I currently do the same as you but with Cosmedico tubes, just had an outbreak and been doing my homework for replacements that are hopefully more effective

Hi
I’m also looking. Blimey 400 is a good price but it does seem like it has to be original Philips tube otherwise they are fake and can do more harm.
I did come across a site called psoriasis care. Think it was like www. Psoriasiscare. Co . Uk. Has anyone ever used them. They were Philips recommended.
Has anyone used these lamps for treatment. It’s a costly purchase! But if it works then it’s worth it.
This is a great idea, except the timers are built into units housing Phillips tubes a maximum of 3 minutes. Twin timers for safety, Ordinary sunbeds might have timers 30 minutes or more. I believe if you over expose your skin to UVB you could be seriously burnt. 7 minutes is some if the very longest times, Ive read UVB dosage scientific papers alsi on line by specialists. I would have loved to swop the tubes from a sunbed, but there should have been a warning they were to be installed into a machine with twin timers or maximum timer duration, like 3 -4 minutes. I heard a man made up a selection of UVB lights (tubes) manufactured for reptiles, he bathed in the light and ended up with serious burns, not quite the same as above, but near enough.

Its true genuine Phillips bulbs ate the hospital standard uvb bulb, the only thing that might be different they will have cubicles built that house 25 tubes ect ect, but 9 tubes for home is a wonderful thing.

Good Morning
I can recommend Psoriasiscare.co.uk, I purchased 10 tubes just over a fortnight ago and my psoriasis is nearly clear! Having had UV treatment in hospitals over the years I’m fully aware of exposure times, so just be aware before using these tubes.
I had concerns over getting these delivered, I needn’t have worried as they were really well packaged, ordered them at 16.00 on a Wednesday and they were delivered 9.00am the following day.
Not cheap I accept, but a small price to pay for me to get clear after a flare up after tonsillitis.
I’ve also been using Child’s Farm moisturiser after reading an article, the UVB can make your skin feel dry and like you’re 1st day on holiday!
