Hello all! Newly diagnosed...didn't take long to get the diagnosis, it was more I was blowing off my symptoms for a long time. Just put on Plaquenil, so waiting for that to start working. Besides the pain, I constantly feel exhausted to the point where moving is a chore. As if I have the flu, whole body aches and I need to sleep all the time. Doesn't matter how much sleep I get, can't manage to feel rested. I can't even participate in the day and this is very frustrating. I'm glad I have a diagnosis so I don't feel crazy anymore, like what is going on with my body. Are you feeling like this? What helps? I won't always feel like this, right?

I felt exactly like this (exhausted, couldn't lift anything) - until I got on meds - didn't feel "normal" again until I got on Humira.
Before I was diagnosed, a couple of weeks ago, I could feel like this for weeks on end. I had periods in between when I could do anything. Over the past few days I have been sleeping a q2 hour night, a four hour nap during the day and so on. I woke up this morning feeling fine.
I read something yesterday that made sense to me. When you’ve used all the money in your daily budget of energy and start having to borrow from the next day = feeling shattered the next day. When I looked back that is exactly what I had done.
So now for me, I will try budget we’ll or expect tired days if I have to borrow!
I hope this might be helpful for you
