The Vitalux is for animal rearing and aquatic plant growth and the Philips PL 9 will need a special lamp holder plus a control ballast as the lamp works at around 60 volts. Your best bet is to look for a complete unit that already contains the Philips lamp and they start around the £80-90 mark.

Creams etc for around and on the perineum are best determined by your doc because what suits one might cause problems for another. I feel for you because I too suffer with problems down there; although as I was cut at birth I didn't need cutting later on. I treat with 1% hydrocortisone cream from doc used sparingly when in a bad flare and an OTC cream going by the name of Cuticura as that seems to keep the area sort of supple when the 1% hydro is not needed pronto https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=cuticura+cream

It works for some but there is no substitute for actual sunlight to generate Vit D

I forgot to add that my specialist tried me on Otezla and with good effects too. My general P has eased back a fair way, the tendonitis and joint troubles in my hands has eased off and the psoriatic arthritis has also started to ease off. . .the only area that has not benefited to any measurable extent is groin and perineum area for plaque P, so to me Otezla has been a definite good addition.
