What is the difference between Dovonex ointment and Dovobet gel?

I was on holiday in Spain and the pharmacist recommended Dovonex ointment, which worked until I came back to the UK. When I saw the practice nurse back home she prescribed me Dovobet gel and Cetraben ointment (to be used as a soap replacement). I am now into my second week on this treatment and it seems to be working. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between Dovenex ointment and Dovebet oil?
