Psoriasis and taking Tegretol

Hi all. I have had psoriasis for bout 16 years and I also take Tegretol for epilepsy. Because of the Tegretol none of the treatments so far have worked. It reduces the effectiveness of the treatments. Does anyone out there have the same problem and has anything worked for you? TIA. X
