I wonder if anyone can share their experiences - or give me some pointers. I've been out of the UK for a few years but need to move back to take care of elderly family. While away I contracted PsA and went thru the MTX and Cyclosporine phases and moved onto Humira - which I've been on for nearly 3 years. I'm concerned about the transition back based on some of the things I've read - especially about how hard they make it to get on biologics on the NHS and wonder about a couple of things:
1) What's the process I would have to go thru - who would I need to see - to hopefully continue on Humira (which works very well for me) under the NHS
2) How long might it take?
3) Will they take into account my previous medical history - in regards to DMARDS, etc
Thanks. Really appreciate any guidance

I am no expert on the NHS contributions rulings, but my first question would be, how long have you not been making NHS contributions.
I expect your first point of contact will be by registering with a NHS GP and then take advice from them as soon as your new UK employer has started taking NI deductions from your pay.
