Hi recently diagnosed with Pso and PsA, I wondered what is the best soap/showergels and the best moisturisers to use to help manage the Posriasis. I have been prescribed Dovonex Ointment, but want to use a moisturiser in the long term. Have had suggested Aqueous Cream, but concerned about the SLS in it, also had advised Dermol 500. Do you all use soaps and showergels or not, if not, what do you use instead??

As well as Otezla prescribed my doc, she also gives me Capasal Shampoo + Dermol Shower Cream + Dermol 500 for after showering when dry. That combination for me seems to be the best combination.

I have had psoriasis on and off since I was 2 weeks old (in my late 60s now). I am waiting for a Dermatology appointment for inverse psoriasis. In the meantime my GP prescribed Zerobase which has worked wonders. Really soothing and not messy at all.

I’m currently using zerobase too, only started using it recently. It’s made an improvement but is a tad oily so am now looking into gloves.
