Topical withdrawal flare up on hands. Please help!!!!

Hi
I have been using Dovabet on and off for about 15 years. P comes up and then im straight on it with ointment. I have just lost 3 stone and trying to eat healthy and the rest of my body p has gone really light. I decided to stop using steroid and omg i have never seen my hands flare as bad as this. Every spot over the last 15 years I have put steroid on has gone crazy. Please help does this get better and is it just in this place because I used sterioids
Desperate as want to try and hold out here thks

Hi Mandy,
I had exactly the same trouble when I came off dovobet, I was only using it for a few years but its only meant to be a short term fix anyway. Yes mine did calm down eventually but it took a while and I used dovonex instead and diprobase emmolient. Eventually I just used the diprobase and the occasional tanning bed. Please perservere with coming off the dovobet as it stops working effectively anyway after a while and can thin your skin x
