Hi I was diagnosed last week. I didn’t realise I had a throat infection has I do suffer sore throats but treat them myself. I’m covered on my trunk and a few on my arms. The ones I saw first have now gone into dry patches. Will they completely disappear. My Dr said up to 4 weeks.

If you have psoriasis then it may clear up for a while with treatment but there is no cure for Psoriasis, it will come back sooner or later.
Sadly Psoriasis is a permenant genetic condition. It will never clear up completly.
Thats what I have been told. The only thing you can do is moisturise multipul times a day, work with a dermatologist, and try and manage the symptoms.

Sounds like you have guttate psoriasis caused by a strep throat infection. I had the same about 20 years ago. I thought it would last for ever but fortunately, it cleared completely after 6 months. I was psoriasis free and then 2 years ago after a very stressful time, I developed plaque psoriasis, which seems sadly, is here to stay.
