I have had scalp psorasis for over two years now. It comes and it goes. Is there any recommendations people have? I get stubborn flaky white patches that are so noticeable on my hair.

Hi Alisha
I have unfortunately had scalp psoriasis for 20 years, it will not go away
But it is controllable.
I was using Dermovate for 15 years which is a strong steroid lotion, once a day after a shower as it’s easier to put on then.
Doctor then put me on betacap ( betamethasone) which is a milder version.
If I use this every day or 2 it will stay away, if I don’t it returns.
I would recommend dermovate to begin with, it will get rid of your flaky white patches without fail,
You will need to apply heavily to begin with.
Hope this helps

Hi Alisha I had scalp psoriasis , I used benovate which my doctor prescribed and I am now free from scalp psoriasis , I had it all over my scalp and the back of my neck but I used benovate and it cured me , but unfortunately I now have psoriasis almost everywhere except my scalp and neck , benovate is a scalp application I applied it once a day and I couldn't believe the result it gave me , it still has not come back. Benovate might be worth ago.
