Acitretin

I am 81 years old and had Ps since I was 10 and never had flu in my life. Ten weeks ago I was put on 10 mg of Acitretin and after a week I had a week of flu like symptoms. The clinic tell me this has nothing to do with Acitretin and increased my dose to 20mg. I have now had flu like symptoms for 3 weeks and I am seriously thinking of stopping the treatment. Has anyone else had these symptoms on Acitretin
