Recurring psoriasis mainly on elbows for about 10 years. Can look very red and unsightly. Smaller outbreaks on rest of body from time to tim

Hi Apologies if this has been covered before. I've had psoriasis for over 10 years now (I'm 36). It's mainly on my elbows. It can look quite red and unsightly at times. I use Dovobet ointment which does help to clear it up but the ointment is so sticky and takes so long to sink in it ends up getting everywhere. It also means I can't wear long sleeves over it as it ruins my clothes. Does anyone have any advice on how to avoid this or maybe alternative products that don't cause this problem? Any tips are greatly appreciated, thanks.

have you tried Dovonex? They used to do a cream version. I used it for years and it kept it under control (mostly). There was also an ointment version, but that had the same problem regarding getting on your clothes. http://www.drugs.com/pro/dovonex-cream.html
