Hi team I've just started Cosentyx. Had my second lot of injections so it is only early days but just wondering of other people's experiences on this. I've read amazing results online but nothing really gives detail on how long it may take to clear. I have bad psoraisis under my breasts and in my private area. No changes yet and still in a lot of pain. Thanks

Hi Natalie, I believe the drug you mention is one of the "biologics". If you search the forum for the word "biologic" you will find other streams that may inform you. Good luck wendyloish

Hi Allan Sorry for my delayed reply. I started Cosentyx in November. I had 4 lots of injections (so 2 infections twice weekly). I was supposed to have one more ‘loading’ injection at week 5 however I had to stop as my spots in certain areas got really bad. I unfortunately get psoriasis under my breasts and private area. All of my others spots had cleared up within days except for these areas and some on my legs. I was at a point where I couldn’t even walk due to so much pain. I was off the injection for 3 weeks and just used a cream and it ended up being the best thing for me. My spots under my breasts and private areas started to heal. I ended up going back into Cosentyx after a 3 week break as the other spots that had cleared, started to return. Since being back on Cosentyx it’s been better. I’m nearly clear except a few spots of my legs still and red colour skin patches in my most affected areas. Since returning to Cosentyx i’ve Just gone into monthly injections and have had two lots. My third is tomorrow night. I’m in a better place but not out of the woods. I’m no longer experiencing symptoms like itching/burning (had this initially). Hope this helps. I’m in Cosentyx for another 2 lots of injections, then a review with my specialist.
