Hello, my name is amy I am 24 and live in the Uk. I have had P since I was 13 but most recently I have suffers from a bad case of tonsillitis which unfortunately made my P worse... It covers my face, neck, chest, stomach, thighs, legs and back. I also have it a little around my hair line.. So basically my whole body is covered...
I used to be a confident and happy person but now I am so self conscious I am not leaving the house half as much as I should and am struggling at work. I have used nearly every topical and steriod cream there is, I do use a sunbed but it's not helping as much as I need it do. Does anyone else suffer in the way I do, I really would love to have someone to talk to and share tips/advice with as I feel so alone.
Thank you xxx

Hi Amy,
Your GP should be referring you to a specialist dermatologist if you have coverage on your body as much as you say. You've probably gone past the creams and topical solutions stage now. Have you had phototheraphy via the hospital, or discussed cyclosporine or methotrexate with them?
my advice would be get a referral to the hospital to see a dermatologist, i had really good succcess with cyclosporine a few years back when I had P across my whole body. Provided a very quick fix (however it will come back...)
Happy to answer any more questions you might have! :)

Hi,
I was diagnosed with Guttate Psoriasis ten weeks ago. I have found that so far nothing works and I am so unhappy about it. I am covered apart from face and neck.
Does it go away?? I am waiting for a dermatologist appointment as steroid creams like Dovobet did not clear it up. I also find that all the moisturisers seem to just make it more aggravated.
I eat healthily and drink lots of water.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
