Help with treatment

Hi there. I have had psoriasis for about a year now, It started at the top of my neck on my scalp and has slowly gotten worse in time. About a week ago I noticed it has spread onto my face, arms and legs, I have previously used a steroid cream for the back of my neck. I just wondered if anyone could reccomend anything at all to help control it. Any creams, diet changes? I will literally try anything. I have heard that sunbeds help? Many thanks Laura

Hi Lauraj, I have tried steroid creams and other topicals, only made me worse. Only thing that helped me is a UVB light canopy. I have heard some people do use sun beds which for most people help clear the condition. But the trouble with a normal sunbed is it uses UVA light rays which are said to have a higher risk of skin cancer than narrowband UVB.
