Possibly moving into Biologic treatment

Hi I'm currently on methotrexate and the consultant said if they don't see a bigger improvement next time they may move me to biologic, I haven't researched this at all as yet, but I thought you couldn't conceive for a long period after using these if at all....is this correct? Also she said these would be via injection how does this work? Do you go to the gp/hospital to have this done and how often....or do you do this yourself if so how does that work.....🙈 I'm so scared of needles. Also sorry for all the questions are there any big pros and cons to biologic and how quickly did you find your psoriasis clear? Many thanks for reading ☺️
