Inverse psoriasis

Hi everyone, I'm pretty sure that I have inverse psoriasis. Yes I've been to the doctor and I've been prescribed Timodean. Before this it was Locoid. The timodean worked a little but I'm not sure whether I should keep using it. I'm waiting to try and get another appointment wuth anotger doctor who is a skin specialist. It's very difficult getting an appointment with a doctor of choice. The last doctor I visited just told me not to look on tbe internet when I suggested that I had intertrigo ir inverse psoriasis (To me It's obvious that I do have it). How do I go about ygis please? Do I have to wait for a doctor to spot it? What can I do to get the correct treatment? I've looked at private but just can't afford it.

The most effective treatment I have received for inverse psoriasis is Trimovate. I also use Elecon. Trimovate was unavailable on the NHS standard prescription list for a few months, and my Doctor prescribed me Timodean. I used it for a few days until I could get Trimovate again (the pharmacy had to order it and the GP practice had to agree to pay the non-NHS price for it). I found that Timodean helped but was not as effective as Trimovate. I only need to use it for 5-7 days or so every couple of months,.
