Posted Thu 11 Jul 2019 09.38 by Speedy Hi I am a 56 year old woman, I've had plantar pustulosis for 13 years. I have scalp and guttate psoriasis too.
Hi, I have had plantar pustulosis for 11 years, it affects my right foot only.
I have tried steroid ointments, methotrexate injections, ciclosporin, PUVA, and acitretin.
I am now trying Skilarence. I have been taking the drug for 6 weeks and increased the dose to 360mg daily. No sign of improvement yet. How long before i start to see any improvement? The side effects are bearable, I have had a few hot flushes and an upset tummy at the start of any increase in dose, but I will keep going.
I seem to have flares about a week before my period, or if stressed or worried. I plan my social life around the flares. I can't wear nice shoes or boots and live in my ugly mules. I do hope the Skilarence works... I want my life back. I was always very active, love sports. Now I watch sports and limp about. I am desperate for success.
Does anyone have a success story to share?
