Prednisolone

Just been given a weeks dose of 30mg a day of prednisolone
Has anyone else used this , does it work , a short term fix as have a holiday coming up
There’s a lot of negative research on the use of this
Covered in plaque psoriasis , trunk and all four limbs
A new sufferer
Any help or advice ?
