Does anyone have experience with onset of perimenopause / menopause and flare ups or changes to Psoriasis?
I have had mild P since a teenager on elbows mainly. Since hitting perimenopause a couple of years ago (I'm 55) with its increasingly severe symptoms, my psoriasis has flared up on my hands and most recently my feet - totally different from anything I've had before - so painful, deep spilts in the soles of my feet which I'm having to bandage to help me walk.
I'm wondering if HRT while readdressing my hormone imbalances may also positively affect my progressively worse Psoroasis?
My GP isn't that helpful, but I've read a couple of studies which point in that direction.
Very grateful for any insights - Im normally a very active person and Im finding the debilitation quite scary.
