Mild Psoriasis Sufferer Seeing Improvement

Posted Tue 2 Feb 2021 15.25 by Vanda

I've suffered from patches of psoriasis for over 45 years, mainly on my elbows and knees but also on my hands which have been quite bad at times. Over the last year I have seen a marked improvement in the skin on my hands. The only thing I have done differently is use hand sanitizer because of Covid-19. I'm usually very careful with products, avoiding anything perfumed so as not to aggravate the Psoriasis patches, and was worried I would have a reaction after using hand sanitizer. Bizarrely it seems to be having the opposite effect. It could be totally unrelated but I just wondered if any fellow Psoriasis sufferers have noticed a difference if their Psoriasis is on their hands too. Thanks.

Great news.

Thanks Mike. I'm just intrigued to see if there's any connection between the ingredients in the hand sanitizers and the positive effect on the Psoriasis on my hands. I need to trial it on my elbows and knees! Would be an ironic way to have discovered an effective treatment for mild Psoriasis.
