Please help - Hair loss

I have scalp psoriasis and have been using t-gel for a while now. I never knew it was so serious but I was scratching a spot on my head and I looked in the mirror and I have about a dime sized spot with no hair at all. I am mortified. Can I do anything at all to help with this?? Please help!
