Hi I’m Erin,20 years old diagnosed with generalised pustuler Psoriasis, plaque and Guttate.

Hi everyone, had a skin biopsy and now diagnosed with severe generalised pustular psoriasis! I’ve heard there’s lots of complications with organ failure…can someone shed some light on this? Stressful, I have urgent appointment straight after Christmas to start methotrexate!

Psoriasis 40 years, most treatments tried over this time, currently on biologics (stelara) as nothing else work.

Hi Erin Sorry to hear your psoriasis diagnosis. Please be careful what you do read, it can stress you out more and make your psoriasis worse. If you get very bad, you should be able to be seen quicker (even if via A&E) to start treatment. Anyone with psoriasis disease has increased risks for various other things, but you are very young and treatments should be able to calm the immune over reactions. Hope you are seen soon X
