Methotrexate

Hello Winchy, I will give you my experience of mtx as everyone reacts differently. I only took it for P as I don't have PsA. Firstly I found it a really effective treatment, never 100% clear but enough to have a decent quality of life. The main side effects were nausea and tiredness mainly the day after taking the tablets. I lived with the side effects for a good period of time before I was moved onto the next medication. I took the tablets late at night so I could sleep off much of the nausea. You will be required to have a blood test and chest xray before commencing mtx plus will have to have regular blood tests so are closely monitored.. You will asl take folic acid as part of the treatment. Good luck.
