Recently diagnosed with flexural psoriasis

I have recently been diagnosed with flexural psoriasis. I have it in most of my skin folds including my private areas which I find incredibly painful and uncomfortable. I got to see a brilliant specialist who explained everything to me in great detail and prescribed me a large range of creams to start trying to control it. I cant help but feel really down about my diagnosis, especially because the psoriasis I have in my private areas is so bad I can hardly sit down without the most horrendous pain. I hope others have found the creams to be effective and that there may be some light at the end of the tunnel. For the time being things just seem like a constant cycle of immense pain.
