Methotrexate treatment

I've been suffering with it all over my body for 20 years plus as it get older it is getting worse.
Has anyone used methotrexate? I've just finishing my 30th session of UV treatment with very little success. I have been offered methotrexate but know very little about it. Can anyone help please?

Hi Ash,
I'v been on Methotrexate for about a year and a half now and have had no problems with it, i'm supposed to take folic acid for the 6 days a week when i'm not taking it for the side affects but i very rarely remember to take that and i always feel fine. I think it affects everyone differently though and not everyone gets on with it. I have blood tests every 2 months and so far so good... :0)
