Lidocaine epidural injection as treatment

So in the news it has been announced that this provides psoriasis clearance in a small study. I think this is such exciting news. It has no side effects and provides sustained remission. And the drug used is already approved and available. I don’t understand why this isn’t getting more news headlines.
I actually believe I experienced this myself when I had lidocaine injection for wisdom tooth removal.
I hope this gets more funding and research. Just wanted to spread the news in case others hadn’t heard already.

Yes between this finding and also the latest results showing that electrical stimulation of the vagus nerve can provide treatment, I feel this is quite a breakthrough towards finding a cure. Something to do with the nerves in the body, it is a new way of approaching treatments.
