Hi - I was prescribed it for my psoriasis for a few months a few years ago (early 30s) in order to trial and 'prove' that it didn't work. It didn't achieve the desired results however it then meant other 'better' treatments became available to me. I didn't notice any side effects in how I felt or in any results in my regular blood tests. Of course it will be up to individuals and so have a really good discussion with relevant clinician on options and side effects so you are both fully informed, as well as cautious online research from credible sources.
