Chemicals

Hi all, I have psoriasis on both my feet and heels, I work with solvents mainly butyl acetate (which dries out skin). I have noticed that my psoriasis is worse when I am using the butyl but not getting any on my skin I am thinking the fumes from the butyl as it is heavier than air so the fumes will drop to the floor are affecting my psoriasis. Has anyone had a similar experience.

Hi, Not with chemicals as such but I've had a bit of a brain wave. My psoriasis started about the same time as I let my hair go grey and started using purple shampoos. I'm going to stop using it for a while and see what happens. Probably not related as my scalp is fine, I have patches on my upper body and hips.

Hi thanks for your reply, I also don't have any on my head just my feet, I get QV wash on prescription and found this to be quite good 👍
