Hi Neil - can't help with the socks, I wear soft Dr Scholl ankle sport socks (thick cotton and super soft) once I put my ointment on. It's not been easy, my feet (only heel) started peeling in August after I had Covid. Tried all sorts and now Dr gave me Diprosalic and told me to put it on once a day and then wrap my heel in clingfilm. I leave the clingfilm on for a few hours and then put socks or tights on, what ever fits the outfit of the day. Good luck. Tatia

Thanks for your reply Tatia I will have a look at the Dr scholl socks. My consultant gave me Diprosalic and I wrap them overnight in cling film and it does help but you can't do it to often as it thins the skin. Good luck Neil

I am trying copper impregnated socks. Initially because of fungal nails, but they seem to calm the large patch on my instep
