Oregon Shampoo

I’m really struggling with my scalp psoriasis. I’ve been using T-gel for years with few flair ups but over the past 6 months it just seems to be constant. I’ve been researching and found this brand with some really positive reviews. Has anyone on here ever used this Shampoo? How did they find it?

I use T-gel and it's ok for me, although like you I get flair ups. I would be interested to hear how you get on with Oregon (I hadn't heard of it) if you give it a try.

I have struggled with very scaly scalp psoriasis for over 3 years, have tried so many shampoos, prescribed topical medications, was reluctantly on methotrexate for 2 years which I made the decision to stop using 6 months ago and seek an alternative path - it’s not easy and can take what seems like an eternity to find something to relieve this condition. Whilst I haven’t used the particular shampoo you mention, I have recently found Vogel Neem shampoo to be ok for my sensitive scalp. However I read an article on here about Hannah Sillitoe which reminded me I had the book! From here I checked out her website and there is a home remedy for scalp psoriasis - do check this out as I personally have found using the method part 1 & 2 along with a final rinse 500ml warm water + 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar an incredible step forward in treating my problem. I would add I have for some time now cut out dairy, (use oat milk), alcohol, nightshade vegetables and acidic foods - wherever possible. I know, not one size fits all with this condition but hope it helps - apologies for the long drawn out response!

I just thought I would post an update on this forum. I bought the Oregon shampoo and conditioner and my scalp has had a complete transformation! I ran out after using it for 2 months and had forgot to order more which resulted in having to use capasal shampoo and my scalp psoriasis came back with a vengeance. I ordered the Oregon shampoo and conditioner again and it completely cleared up. Please remember that what works for me may not work for anyone else but it may be worth a try!

I have just ordered some Oregon shampoo to try. I did not order the conditioner. Generally speaking, conditioner is not intended to be massaged into the scalp or applied to the scalp, but only to the length of the hair. I decided to save the money on that.
