What does your psoriasis look like when it’s clearing?

Hi guys! I’ve always been interested to know what your psoriasis looks like when it’s clearing. I’ve been a sufferer of guttate and scalp psoriasis since I was 8 (now 25), and I’ve contributed mine to a mix of imbalanced hormones, stress and potentially food. My psoriasis gets better and worse around my menstrual cycle. When it seems to be improving, I often get a weird thin peeling skin outline around the spot. Others times I’ll notice it gets lighter in the middle of the lesion, but it’ll never fully go - so part of me thinks ‘is it actually a sign of improvement?’ What do your lesions look like when they begin to improve/how can you tell they’re improving?

They stop itching so much, and they get lighter and smaller. The outer ring you mention is quite common

I have psoriasis on about 1/3 of my body...have had it for over 10 years and its getting worse.

I had three badly crusty patches above my knee that I applied Dovobet to every day. What happens is the crustiness dies down, but there is still raised red patches of skin that forms crusts. Eventually even the crustiness disappears....but I find the red patches of skin take even longer to go away. The times I have managed to get the red patches to completely go away, they usually stay gone for months....but can return again in the exact same place.
