Hi all. Just after some advice. When I was on Methotrexate, my ALT in my blood tests showed a steady climb to 54 (normal max is 40) so I was taken off it.
I have been on Adalimumab now for 3 months and it has almost completely solved my psoriasis. I have maybe 1 patch left which is shrinking and 1 patch which is gone by a little bit of redness still remains. But I had my blood test last week ready for my 3 month follow up appointment this week and my ALT is 70!
I have seen conflicting reports of whether this is a problem. Some say they will take me off it if I get to 3 times normal (120) but others saying anything above 50 is cause for concern. Does anyone have any experience of this? I will find out Thursday obviously but am a little anxious and wanted to see if anyone had any insights before then.
These injections have changed my life, literally. I would hate to go back again...
