Does anyone know what happens if you come off biologics. Will your psoriasis be worse than before of will it be worse ?
Posted Thu 1 Jun 2023 21.40 by Steview A P sufferer for over 30 years, through good and bad times.
Sadly most probably will return once the the medicine effects wear off.
How bad it returns is a big question though. I know from my experience as I am approaching.my 12 weekly injection I am already noticing a few small spots, left any.longer those would no doubt be getting bigger.
Maybe you should ask your dermatologist what their experience is with their patients in a similar position.. Good luck.

Sadly, there is (so far) no known cure for psoriasis.
Only treatments.
Biologics are a treatment. They suppress the overactive immune system for a few weeks or months, and need constant topping up.
Some may get "lucky", but once the top-up stops, the psoriasis (usually) returns.
