Hello everyone,
I have my first dermatology appointment with the hospital tomorrow. I have been to the GP several times who referred me to dermatology who then referred me to the hospital Dermatology clinic. When I was referred over a year ago I was having a major flare to the point where I ended up having to seek medical attention for it sometimes as GP wouldn’t take it seriously.
My concern is since I was last saw by a medical professional last Sept( last time I had to seek more help) my skin is basically clear apart from 2 small patches on my elbow. I have lots of huge white marks where psoriasis was and lots of pics of what it does look like.
Would I be wasting the Dermatologist doctors time by going tomorrow as I am not flaring. Do they take it seriously? I’m really worried I will just be discharged
