Hot weather and Psoriasis

Having had psoriasis for 18 years (I’m 24) you could say I am quite used to it and have had it for as long as I can remember but the one thing that bothers me is the heat. I am a young female who works in an office and I find it so hard to dress for the weather during flare ups. I’m writing this as the weather forecast is 30degrees this week, I am in the office on Thursday and currently have a flare up on my arms and legs. Whenever I cover up people will ask me why and I get the usual ‘are you not absolutely roasting?!’. The answer is usually YES but I would rather cover up then have my arms and legs on show and have people look at my skin. This week I have cancelled a gym class as I don’t want to be stood in a room wearing long sleeve tops and leggings in this weather and I have cancelled weekend plans because I don’t want to be sat in the heat with my friends in a long sleeve top. I know the obvious answer is to not care what anyone things and just enjoy the sun but there’s nothing that affects my mental health more than this and I just don’t know what to do. I’m so tired of having to explain my outfit choices or constantly say no when my friends say why don’t you take your jacket off!! I suppose i am not looking for advice but I needed to rant today and if anyone does have any words of wisdom I’m all ears
