Hi there, I’m currently doing the same as you and trying everything I can. I high dosed vitamin D for a year. I started at 4000iu per day, then after a month or so, I went up to 10,000 a day. I noticed a huge improvement but it didn’t last. Now, it’s complicated, but I was covered 90% of my body, primarily arms, legs and scalp and face. Now when it started clearing up, my body psoriasis completely cleared, but the vitamin d didn’t improve my scalp psoriasis at all. The clearing lasted for around two months, which felt amazing, then a spot reappeared on my arm and I stupidly used Enstilar foam on it which in turn caused me to outbreak again. I cannot use Enstillar now as I have a bad reaction to it. I’m now dealing with serrboric dermatitis which I believe was caused by the Enstillar. The psoriasis has come back, but is nowhere near as bad as it once was. I also just felt better taking Vitamin D. I then tried taking 30,000iu a day, to see if that would bring it back down, but I started showing signs of what I think was hypercalcemia - thirsty, urinating a lot, etc. So I have stopped taking vitamin D for at least 6 months. Psoriasis is still the same, but better than it was before I started taking the vit D. I would certainly give it a go if I were you, but if you can, get your levels checked. I was confident in high dosing because my vit D levels were extremely low - below 12 - Hope this helps.

I got psoriasis at age 62 after a strep throat. I was given enstilar which was brutal for me. My mental health suffered greatly. Now after 2 weeks of stopping it's back. I can't cope. I realise now what living with this is like. I've changed back to clean eating this week. No sugar grains carbs of any kind. No fruit. No inflammation! Good luck 🍀

I must be on the rare side of the spectrum because I can safely take lower amounts such as 1000iu per day and be fine however when I upped it to 10,000iu within 2-3 days I started getting incredibly anxious and stressed and through a bit of research there is a small group of people that tend to experience this and I just happened to be in that group.. Sad but it happens. Back to the drawing board but don’t let that stop you trying. For me I think actual exposure to the sun works rather than synthetic
