Plaque psoriasis treatment

I want to share my story and help others. I have had plaque psoriasis for almost three decades, I have tried many treatments including biologics. Nothing worked until I understood and it let it sink in "my problems were due to poor gut health"; please read up leaky gut syndrome and inflammation and link to psoriasis. The solution was simple glutamine about half a teaspoon everyday, collagen for my psoriatic arthritic, fish oil and vitamins. I happy to say iam finally clear of psoriasis, the damage of psoriatic arthritis is irreversible but collagen helps. There... I hope someone will benefit from my story. Stay happy and healthy!

Oh wow that's amazing news you must be over the moon. Thank you for sharing this. My 10 year old has it so bad and is currently starting light therapy. So would be really interested in what you used.

Hi Clairey , I'm sorry to hear about your son having it, it started for me around the same age. If you notice that whenever he eats something new like a new fruit or beans or anything non standard and his psoriasis symptoms are worse then he may have a leaky gut, the new food enters bloodstream and gets attacked by body's defense, however the attack is on all body tissues because the food settles everywhere inside the body. Widespread Inflammation also manifests as skin conditions. I started using L-Glutamine (I use nutricost but any brand might do, please do research if this is OK for 10yr old) this is an amino acid and is used in sports drinks I believe but helps the guts lining, once the gut gets healthy you no longer leak food in to bloodstream so the psoriasis will go down. I had to take this supplement for atleast 4 months 1/2 teaspoon at a time to see benefits so don't give up. I also use a vegan collagen from sunwarrior it helps my joints. Iam vegetarian so I don't get collagen from consuming meat so excaberates my issues. Hope this helps good luck to you and your son

Please avoid artificial sweetners, zero calorie sweetners at all costs they damage the gut lining, check all processed foods if they contain these.
