Research Grant Call now open
The Psoriasis Association is pleased to announce that the 2022 call for PhD Studentship and Cecil King Memorial grant applications is now open.
Information about applying for the PhD Studentship and Cecil King Memorial grants can be found here.
First launched in 2007, we are proud to continue our support of early career psoriasis researchers by offering Psoriasis Association PhD Studentship grants again in 2022. These Studentships are for £92,000 over three years.
Alongside PhD Studentships, a small grant of up to £10,000 is available through the Psoriasis Association. This is funded by the Cecil King Memorial Foundation and is available for projects where the lead researcher is under 35 years of age, or within the first five consecutive years, at the time of application, of either their first permanent independent academic research post or a named limited-tenured/fixed-term academic research post, obtained in open competition (note that tenure must cover the duration of the award) based in the UK or Ireland.
The Psoriasis Association will consider applications from all disciplines, from basic science through to health services research, providing the application has a clear relevance to our aim ‘to promote and fund research into the causes, nature and care of psoriasis and to publish and disseminate the results of that research’. Applications that address one of the ‘Psoriasis Top 10’ research priorities will be looked on favourably.
The 2022 grant application process opened on Thursday 1st September, and will close on Thursday 1st December 2022.
