Professor Chris Griffiths has been awarded the Order of the British Empire for his services to Dermatology.
Professor Griffiths, Foundation Professor of Dermatology at The University of Manchester and Consultant Dermatologist at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, has a particular interest in psoriasis, and is a longstanding supporter of the Psoriasis Association and contributor to our Medical and Research Committee. He is also Director of Psoriasis Stratification to Optimise Relevant Therapy (PSORT) – an exciting multi-million pound study into personalising treatment approaches for psoriasis, and is Chief Investigator of the British Association of Dermatologists Biologics and Immunomodulators Register (BADBIR).
