So i've got an appointment to see my GP tomorrow about my psoriasis. I've been on coal tar, and many types of steroid. I feel as though my GP doesn't know a lot about the condition (last time I went he emailed another doctor halfway through my appointment for advice) Am I able to ask to see a dermatologist? And does anyone have any information about how they go about organizing it? Thanks.

Just get the Dr to refer you to a dermatologist ,they obviosly know more about it and the treatments which would benefit you most of all.
