About to become a stoma patient and I am panicking because my skin is already unhappy after 24 hours wearing the practice equipment. Has anyone experience of coping with stoma equipment on psoriatic skin. Any tips please from those who have been through this?

Hi Jean
Sorry this is 18 months to late for you, but i too had a stoma last December and the P around my site was sometimes very itchy, unfortunately the best advice i was given was to use nothing as creams are too greasy but i do use a powder given by my stoma nurse, if my stoma leaks and causes irritation i find this also helps reduce the itching on my psoriasis.
Again you probably have managed by now but wanted to give any help.
Regards
Damian
