insect bites

ouch. during this lovely hot weather I now have at least 30 insect bites so now have double itching ie psoriasis and bites!
Any suggestions to calm my poor skin down ? natural remedies preferred. Am taking anti histomine at mo.
Also, I have read that new skin lesions occur after skin has been broken, which is not great news as its already pretty horrendously widespread.
