Psoriatic arthritis pain

Posted Mon 8 Oct 2018 00.14 by dykhdb

This is my first post. I am 43 and have had P for 30 yrs. Arthritis for roughly 15. Its worsening. I have been on raptiva, enbrek, humira, now otezla. Im about 9 weeks into otezla and no change. Im getting worried and tired of misery. Any hope for this per anyones experience?

Hello dykhdb Similar to wendyloish I have modified my diet - although to a lesser extent and have seen benefits with less aches & pains. I was a bit more selective/limited in that I stopped consuming dairy milk/cream/yoghurt and red meat. Best of luck

I think pain and lesions are definitely made worse by bad dietary choices. They think I may now have psoriatic arthritis so will be cutting out a lot of what I currently eat. I cannot take acitretin any longer so something has to change

Thank you wendyloish I am on day two of Dr. Pagano's detox and do think i have a sensitivity to gluten anyway (my 20 year old daughter is a celiac) and my mother has diverticulitis so hereditary right there I think. You seem to be doing well so good luck x
