Blood tests when using Dovobet

It is on the soles of my feet and can make walking very painful

Has anyone else's GP insisted on a blood test when they are using Dovobet? Mine has withheld a repeat prescription until they see results - which is a nightmare as I am having a flare up and nearly out of it. Needless to say, no appointments available, not answering phone in surgery etc. etc....!

Hi, I have been using Dovobet Ointment & Gel for over 5yrs, and have never been asked to take a Blood test....so not sure what/who is correct, your doctor or mine. Good Luck

Legs, elbows and scalp. Self esteem problems and would love to be able to be seen with my shirt off on a hot day.

I've also been using it. I have kidney stones and apparently a minority of users can develop a calcium buildup over the long term if using over a large area of skin, hence the blood tests I would guess. I asked the urologist if the Daivobet (as it's called in Aus) could have been a factor and he said most unlikely.
