Hair Dye

Have had it for over 40 years, managing it on my body but worst now on my scalp
Can anyone recommend a hair dye (Dark Brown or Black). Used to use Loving Care with no ammonia or peroxide but they have stopped selling the darker colours and the darkest one they have turns my hair purple in the sun.
Thought that ones with peroxide or ammonia might be a problem for my scalp psoriasis, but looking at a few comments, this may not be the case. Was looking at either Boots Botanics or Garnier Olia which have no ammonia in them.
