Hi guys,
I posted on here previously about my dermatology appointment this coming Monday.
Guess I’m just looking for reassurance really, as really anxious that I will just be fobbed off with another cream.
My goal is to take methotrexate or ciclosporine. I’ve done my research and know all the risks, but how I feel about my skin I honestly would rather the risks

Hi Lewis, how did you go on at your appointment? Did the consultant prescribe methotrexate, my daughter was taking it orally for a while and it did seem to help, she swapped to weekly injections but unfortunately developed an abscess at the injection site, which I think was down to poor injection technique more than anything. She’s been put off injections and she’s now about to start on Fumaric Acid Esters which apparently normalise the balance of chemicals in the cells which cause psoriasis.
Give the methotrexate a go, hopefully it will work for you, good luck and fingers crossed 🤞
